বাংলা ভাষার ষষ্ঠ স্বরবর্ণ; ঊ বর্ণে ও বানানে থাকলেও উচ্চারণ দীর্ঘ হয় না। ঊ-কার বি. ব্যঞ্জনবর্ণের সঙ্গে দীর্ঘ-ঊ যোগ।
